Danny Paradise has been at the forefront of the global yoga movement for over four decades. He was among the first Westerners to study Ashtanga Yoga under David Williams, Nancy Gilgoff, and K. Pattabhi Jois, the very pioneers who brought Ashtanga yoga to the West. Since then, he has taught in 42 countries, introducing Ashtanga to a worldwide audience and influencing countless students, many of whom have gone on to become respected teachers themselves. Danny's unique approach blends the traditional Ashtanga sequences with teachings from shamanic traditions and other spiritual paths, creating a rich, transformative experience for his students. Often described as ageless, free-spirited, multifaceted, curious, and kind, Danny brings a mystical presence to his teaching. His influence extends beyond the yoga mat; a talented musician, he brings creativity and artistry to all aspects of his life and teaching. Danny's Philosophy and Influences
Danny's classes move beyond the physical practice, delving into the spiritual and philosophical aspects of yoga. What to Expect:
Mornings are unhurried affairs, offering time for a beach walk or an early surf before the program starts at 10 am. Danny opens each session with a talk, seamlessly blending yoga philosophy with insights from his global travels. The practice that follows defies easy categorization. Traditional Ashtanga asanas flow into positions inspired by martial arts and ancient hieroglyphs, challenging both body and mind. Expect musical interludes that add another dimension to the experience.

We suggest flying into Liberia (LIR), Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport. Liberia airport is approximately a 2.5 to 3-hour drive to Nosara. Shared shuttles are available everyday at 2pm and 5pm and cost $60. So it’s best to arrive in Liberia before 3.30pm. Private shuttles are available at anytime of day and cost around $160 USD for up to 4 people. There are also flights on a small plane from Liberia to Nosara each day at around 3.40pm. San José’s Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) is the busiest airport in Costa Rica. It is approximately a 5-hour drive from San José to Nosara. Guests flying into this airport will need to arrange their transport to Nosara.

Your spot will be confirmed via email upon receipt of deposit. Please do not book any flights until you have received a confirmation.
Payment Schedule
Deposit due at time of booking. The balance of your retreat (minus your $500usd initial deposit*) is due 60 days prior to arrival. Details for this will be emailed to the group three months before the retreat.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are refundable until September 30th, 2024 (minus processing fees). Full payment is due by October 15, 2024. Cancellations between October 15th - November 14th: 50% of total cost is non-refundable. Cancellations after November 14th: no refund available.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.
