Raspberry Delights

The Tuesday farmer’s market at Yonge and Davisville oozes with abudance of fresh fruits, veggies, treats, music, and general delight. Peaches, plumbs, apricots, strawberries, blueberry’s, and raspberries are a few of the special treat.   In the past raspberries had many uses. The leaves have medicinal use. They were also used as a red stain for art work – so try not to get them on your white shirts.

Raspberry Frozen Yogurt

12 oz. frozen raspberries
½ cup plain yogurt (can try Greek yogurt)
¼ cup raw honey
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until completely smooth.
Transfer mixture to a freezable container {I use a small cake pan}, cover, and freeze for at lease 4 hours or overnight. Eat and Enjoy.
